Do you have Klout? Does it matter?
Social Media Metrics - Klout

I’ve been using social media tools for several years. I typically engage through Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, this website, and also discussion forums. It wasn’t until recently I’ve come across a social media measurement service that gauges your overall influence across the social media landscape. The service is called Klout (www.klout.com). I won’t go into a full review of

Would you like a side of rude with that 503?

Another day, another crappy user experience on Twitter.  Sadly, failures have become de rigueur which leads me to longing for another option.  Don’t get me wrong.  I’m still having a love affair with Twitter, but the bloom is off the rose.  The new car smell has faded. The moon has lost its honey. Gone are the gut-wrenching, mind-bending panic attacks.

*gasp The dreaded UNfollow

Do you view following as a commitment and unfollowing like a broken promise — or worse — a divorce?  Do you watch your follower count and immediately unfollow anyone who has unfollowed you as if to say, “AHA! Oh yes, I knew

It’s Just a Small Change

Dear Twitter – This Sucks   Twitter is an immeasurably valuable tool for networking that has become an incredible lifeline for me and for our business.  Or it was. Today, Biz Stone in a Twitter Blog post, informed the Twitterverse of a “small settings change“. We’ve updated the Notices section of Settings to better reflect how folks are using Twitter

Twit whom? Photo what?

It’s called Social Networking   I know a lot of people don’t get it.  They don’t get the Web. They don’t get the blogosphere.  And most especially, they don’t get Twitter.  Numerous people in my so-called “real” life have been led to believe that I lost the last bit of sanity I possessed because I dared to espouse the virtues and wonders of
