I’m a geek. A girl geek. And yes, some might even consider me to be easy on the eyes. So much for geek stereotypes.
When I was younger, being a geek was a bad thing. These days, being a geek is not only a good thing – it’s COOL to be a geek.
Geeks know gadgets. Geeks know how to hack your gadgets so that they can do all sorts of cool things. Geeks know how to set up your flat panel tv, surround sound and home theatre. Geeks know how to fix your computer when you get it all junked up with viruses and other nastiness from all the pron you’ve been looking at late at night (bet you didn’t know we knew you did that).
So dispel all those antiquated beliefs and stereotypes. A geek not only has mad skills, a geek is a smart person with a wicked evil sense of humor. True, if you’re not a geek, you may not get some of the jokes But hey, I’ll be your friend anyway.
