The more apps you add, you'll end up with more "screens/pages" to view on your screen. When there are more apps on your home screen, you'll see "dots" at the top indicating there are more screens/pages to view. Simply drag your finger to left or right on the screen to go to the next one that has the additional apps you have downloaded. You should not have any issues adding more free apps onto your iTouch.
